Hi,

Apologies I've not been on-line much what with work and my various ongoing projects. I will endeavour to log into deviant art a bit more often as I have no missed a whole load of requests! Please, if you have made a request of me, re-do so and I will answer this time. I have totally gotten out of the habit of checking in so please forgive me!

So while dealing with finishing my degree, work fun and organising a free comany on FF:ARR I've not found much time for doodling. However with a re-brand at work we all got shiny pads and some pens... So instead of using my pad for actual work stuff, like notes or stuff I've taken to doddling in it each day. I will at some point scan these in and upload them to my scraps to prove that my ability to draw hasn't discintergrated into the oblivion of lacking any sort of time management with regards to myself.

I have also started a blog for, what is now a gaming clan, be it a small one, the Shadowstorms (thats right we're now multiplatform and multigame! go us!). Which can be found here -> www.tumblr.com/blog/the-shadow… so keep an eye out as I plan to update this each week with tales of our antics, plans and such. (lets see how long that motivation lasts eh?)

I do have a drawing in the works, a proper one, as well which I'm working on veeeeeerrrryyyy slowly, but I'm pretty pleased with it so far and am colouring it so I should manage to finish it eventually. I probably should upload the line art but being lazy, as normal...

I'm also making from scratch a Juvia (from Fairy tail) cosplay for next year, so once its done I will get a pic of me in it and upload that too. It may not be doodling but its just as creative. Plus even tho its still under construction it looks brilliant and I'm proper pleased with it so far!

 

Once again everything but drawing is taking up all my time. I've started playing FF14 (did you not guess from the pics?) and thus it uses up my evenings.

I'm once again costume crafting for LARP (really need a character to survive longer than a few events!) and now I am working on a totally different project. I'm working with a couple of people to create a Fairy Tail table top role play system. We looked at the one currently under development and decided that is really didn't work with Fairy Tail, so we figured we'd make our own. It may not go anywhere, but we wanted to try. So far we have a lot of the system stuff figured out but not a lot of actual writing done.

I also got a new computer over the holidays. A nice shiny i7 with a graphic's card that looks like a motorbike engine >.<. But it works well so far and makes FF14 look ever so pretty. I'm still in the process of reinstalling everything, but I did get SAI over christmas so going to give that a try and see if I like it more than Photoshop.

Well its June already and my Designer course is nearly completed. I only have 2 exams left to do and had some very very encouraging feedback on my coursework. The exams however are proving very mean
I'm also currently absorbed with sewing. Its LARP season (again) and after missing the 1st 2 events this year I'm still not ready for the one comming up in terms of costume completion. I've made 2 new dresses for my current character and have my next characters outfit barely pinned together. Just gotta make sure I survive for another few events so its ready!
I've also given up WoW. Yes thats right, I gave up WoW! I wasn't enjoying it and began to loath logging on so I gave up... It was hard saying goodbye to a friend long time friends on there, a few I have on FB but not all and I really really miss them. But I will be strong. While this does give me back my evenings, they have been consumed by sewing and study recently so still no art from me.
I have been wanting to draw. I've got several dozen quick sketches done ready for me to do the actual drawing, but so far not gone any further. I've also picked up my writing again. I figured I'd work on a few stand alone, short stories first before going back to my Vision of Sunset project.
Plus had some issues with my car. So yeah, been a hell of a month with health (I've strained by good eye really badly to the point where I was loosing vision in it temporarily, but the new glasses which I have to wear full time are helping, but still, not fun considering how good my eyesight used to be not 6 months ago).
All in all, massively drained but okay.

I really should get back to drawing more often. It feels like ages since i doodled properly. Since Pandaland in Wow is turning out to be a bit of a flop and I'm having some issues with enjoying it (serious issues currently) due to lack of not only raiding by I think personality clashes with other guildies it may be time to quit and focus on course work.

Yes, thats right I have 6 months to finish my games designer course and I still have so much to do, so unfortunately I really am gonna have to focus on that, however I'm feeling that I may end up doodling more lately due to the lovely new Bamboo Gen 3 Wacom tablet my dad and bro got me for christmas ^^ love my family sometimes.
